I wanted to share details from a recent HVAC project we completed for a landlord. The tenant had caused extensive damage to both the home and the HVAC system, prompting the property owner to proceed with a full system replacement and upgrade.
We installed a new 13.4 SEER2 air conditioner and replaced the existing 95% efficient furnace with a 96% single-stage furnace equipped with an X13 ECM motor, which meets FER (Fan Energy Rating) compliance standards. To improve airflow and system efficiency, we also added a new return air base and upgraded to a larger 20x25x1 filter rack.
